London, UK. and Madrid, Spain: Fintech SaaS provider Toqio has announced promotions across its Sales team in the UK and Spain as part of its growth plans for 2022. Matthew Stephens has been promoted to Head of Sales for the UK and Dafna Martin Beltran has been promoted to Head of Sales for Spain. 

The promotions come as the company experiences rapid growth, having scaled its team from 17 to over 100 in the past year and recently expanding its services into the Spanish market.

Martin Beltran joined Toqio in November last year and will now be responsible for building the team that will drive Toqio’s growth in the Spanish market. Stephens has been a part of the Toqio team since June 2021. He will now work to further build the Sales team in the UK while driving the company’s growth in the country.

Toqio allows any business, not just banks, to launch embedded finance propositions for their business or customers in a matter of days. It removes the need to build and manage complex software solutions through its SaaS platform and a marketplace of banking and fintech partners. Customers are based across Europe and include Crealsa, Wamo and Just Cash Flow.

With offices in London, Madrid and Nairobi, Toqio is currently planning a phased geographic expansion across Europe. In less than two years since its launch, Toqio has secured over 50 customers with more than 60 platforms.
