The Global FinTech ecosystem has seen a recent surge in investment and entrepreneurial activity, valued at approximately 128B in 2018, and expected to reach 309B by 2022, at an annual CAGR of roughly 25%.[1] This makes it one of the fastest growing industries with significant worldwide impact.

The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) FinTech Conference (www.mitfintech.com) is the world's largest student-run conference, bringing together FinTech professionals, academics and students, and has been in existence for over 11 years!

Our conference is held on March 5, 2021, and tickets are now on sale!

With a stellar roster of speakers such as Ajay Banga (CEO of Mastercard), Sheila Warren (Head of Blockchain at WEF) and Vladimir Tenev (CEO of Robinhood), as well as attendees dialing in from all over the globe, this year’s conference is poised to be the biggest one yet. As a flagship FinTech conference, we expect to have over 1,000 attendees this year, an extensive speaking agenda, a worldwide startup pitch competition, and intimate networking and career development opportunities.

Held in conjunction with the conference is our Worldwide Startup Pitch Competition which is currently welcoming applications! This pitch competition will be held in front of our large and global audience and a judging panel of industry experts for prizes up to US$30k! Any FinTech focused startup is encouraged to apply as long as they are post-product and have raised less than $1M in equity funding. Applications close on January 29, 2021.

The MIT FinTech Conference is dedicated to addressing dynamic conversations in FinTech today and providing opportunities to network with like-minded professionals across the world. We are excited for you to join us in exploring Blockchain, Neobanks in Emerging Markets, Alternative Lending, and more this March!
